Founder
Andrés Mejía, upon joiningMexitours DMC, a tour operator with more than 42 years of experience and beginning her career in tourism, realized the lack of information for travelers from the LGBTQ+ community, which is why she decided to partner with Mexitours to create the Leemba brand. During his professional career he has promoted inclusion in tourism, managing to give seminars and conferences in 53 countries. In 2019, being named by Expansión magazine as one of the41+1 executives out of the closet who stand up for inclusion.He has appeared in different media such as Food and Travel Mx, Milenio TV, Canal Once among others promoting diversity in tourism.

Founded as a result of the Covid19 pandemic for people from the LGBTQ+ community who could no longer pay their rent, or adolescents who were expelled from their home due to their sexual orientation.
